Battle of the Blocks, Chasing 23 and Increase The Peace are youth-centered programs that uplift troubled neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. Through innovative activism that includes overnight campouts on dangerous blocks and annual basketball tournaments with conflicting residents, these three forces create leadership, reclaim communities and save lives.
